The first days are always the hardest. So how is everyone doing?
I must admit- I've been looking at all the links posted here, so I haven't stayed away completely.
But no bidding!
I also recieved notice today that I was outbid on one of the two items I bid on the day before we started. I didn't really need them (although it would have been a steal) so this is good news.
I have also rediscovered half.com and listed a bunch of books (NO BUYING!) I've already sold one.
So AsianAG, Kitzka, Wrxgirl, Caroloto, Judiaci, Becca B, Danaspillar, and Balletmom - did you stay off ebay?
What do you all think about Friday updates. That way we stay accountable to no ebay until Christmas. Be honest- did you look? Did you bid?
Would anyone else like to join the no ebay group?
(Thank you Asian AG- I am just thinking of all the money you are saving me already!)

I know what you mean. It is super hard to stay away from ebay... Im always looking at the newly listed auctions, hoping I will find a deal of some kind!!! I recently sold some items myself and now am going to probably buy #25 and that will be it until after xmas, unless Jess is released before then.....
Its so hard to stay away though!!!! Grrr lol

Oooooooh, you made a LIST of all our names! There's no escape now for any who may regret their little burst of virtue!
It's easy for me to stick to my resolution, though--you see, I share a Paypal account with my DH!!! He knows everything I buy, and there's no hiding it! (A good thing, or I'd probably be flat broke by now!)
It IS just a tad strange not to be searching, and adding to my revolving watch list, but I also find that I seem to have all this extra time....

Pretty boring day at work, so I must admit ... I'm off the wagon already BUT, I only searched for "american girl kailey shoes" to see if there were any aqua shoes. And no bidding!!!! (of course it helped that there weren't any aqua shoes at a reasonable price )

Ballet mom- I think it is reasonable if you are only seaking one item from ebay.
You don't have to quit cold turkey. Just limit yourself. And don't go beyond that.
(Sorry you haven't found them)

Well, I have a few things up for auction myself (passing on my Earth Day outfit and My Hanukkah outfit) so I have to check to see how they are doing and if there are any questions (I check from a different email address). Then I'll just take a peek at the handmade historical outfits.
NNOOOO! Stop me before I bid again! Fortunately someone snagged this one from me at the last minute. I'm limiting myself to one seller (Dollyland's Mom on the board).
Yes, if I could stop, I could place a real AG order, or save for an old style Felicity clothes press.

So far I haven't been on ebay! I'm not sure if I could call it will power that I haven't gone to ebay since I joined the group as this week I've been really busy with work.
Yet I almost slipped tonight! But decided to visit here instead first. Thank goodness I read No Ebay Update...it saved me!
I think Friday updates is a good idea we, I need a support group.

Oh,oh, Earth Day and Hannukah outfits!
Well, there's always another auction--AFTER Christmas!!
My first real regret, but maybe DH will get them for me--he has my lists, and I have a December birthday!
danaspillar, you are an evil influence!
But I have stuck to it so far--the best way to avoid temptation is to stay off off ebay altogether.
Ebayoholics Anonymous, here I come!
